Aerospace projects usually follow a structured lifecycle:

Phase 0 – Mission Analysis & Needs Identification

Phase A – Feasibility / Concept Study

Phase B – Preliminary Design

Phase C – Detailed Design

Phase D – Qualification & Production

Phase E – Operation

Phase F – Disposal / Decommissioning

Each phase includes increasing levels of detail, maturity, and documentation.
