4.3.1. Docker on your Laptop

Docker is a tool used to containerize applications which is just like running them in a little imaginary world where everything is the same everywere, regardless if you’re running Windows 11, Mac OS or Linux.

This enables us to create a standard way to develop programs which will talk with your rover through the Raspberry Pi 5 on board computer.

You can install Docker Desktop here:

• Docker Desktop for Mac

• Docker Desktop for Windows - x86_64

• Docker Desktop for Linux
